The nurse at my hospital was surprised how fast my uterus had contracted after just 12 hours. So it kinda works.. Or maybe it would be the same without.. My hips are quite wide (hourglass figure) so everytime I wore the band I had to pull it down all the time and it resulted in a bend in the fabric in the middle of the band. Maybe this band was the wrong type for me.. So I would not recommend this type if you have an hourglass figure.
It works and doesn't work. The band itself does help keep in everything and there was a noticable difference after a few days of wearing it. However from the models I would assume this garment is meant to span your whole torso from under the breast to just pass the belly button. For me it does not do this. Maybe I have a long torso or maybe its because I'm plus size but the band on wraps around my natural waist so my stomach pops out of the bottom. This makes it uncomfortable and I found I can only really use this when I go to bed at night which I'm sure makes it not as effective. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone my size or larger.
3-4 day delay in (estimated) delivery, then item was too small despite utilizing your sizing guidelines. So overall delay in utilizing the binder which was disappointing.
Received my new BFF and seems to be working well.
Well, the sizing calculator is not correct. I purchased according to my belly measurement and pregnancy week and the first belly band was too small. I had to go up to a Medium. Now that I have the correct band, I didn’t like the fit. I thought it would be taller band. My upper torso has a muffin top when I wear it which is aggrevating and ill fitting. Customer service said if I wanted more support, I would have to buy an additional item which is upsetting and expensive. I feel the one given at the hospital had a way better fit. I wish I could return this. I would not recommend this product because it’s too expensive and fit is’weird.
